What is your favorite vacation spot?
Anywhere with waves, white sand, a good book and drink in my hand.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my husband and boys, which typically is a Razorback sporting event. I also enjoy traveling, reading, thrifting, watching my hummers, kayaking, and meeting new friends while keeping the old ones close that are very dear!
Who are three people, living or dead, you’d like to host for dinner?
- My father-in-law who died too soon and didn’t see my boys become young adults. Not only would he be so proud of them and their accomplishments; he would also be proud of his own son and the fine job he did raising them.
- My Aunt Ann, who passed away from cancer a few years ago. She lived a very unconventional life but was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. She didn’t have much but what she did, she shared freely and made you feel important at every visit. What I would do to sit on her porch one more time, with an iced tea in hand and listen to her stories!
- Dolly Parton-I would love her to share her purpose for starting the Imagination Library program which has encouraged children’s literacy to so many and is such a passion of my own. So many lives have been changed by her generosity! I may not have the same resources, but I am certainly working to build a plethora of assorted children’s books that will be shared with children now and in the future.
